INFORMATION COLLECTED BY CARRIER SERVICES OF TENNESSEE, AND HOW IT IS USED
A. Personally-Identifiable Information:
CSI typically receives specific data about its website visitors only when such information is provided voluntarily, such as when our visitors request information, purchase or enroll for services, provide resume information for job opportunities, or send us e-mail. Some of these activities require that you give us information, such as when you make a request for information or submit your resume. When you provide personally-identifiable information to CSI through one of our websites, it will be used to fulfill your specific request. In some cases, CSI will use this information for additional purposes. You may request that CSI not use your information by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or by writing us at 2530 North Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. However, CSI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to send you bulletins and other pertinent information about your CSI services.
Absent any instructions from you, CSI may use information you provide to inform you about services and products offered by CSI and/or CSI-authorized agents. CSI will not, however, sell, trade or otherwise distribute your personally-identifiable information unless we are expressly authorized or legally required to do so, or in the case of imminent physical harm to the visitor or others.
CSI does not collect any credit card or bank account information via its website.
On those CSI sites where you voluntarily offer any feedback, data, answers, questions, comments, suggestions, ideas etc., outside the course of contracted online reporting services, CSI will treat that portion of the information as non-confidential and non-proprietary and, except as otherwise expressed in this Privacy Statement, CSI assumes no obligation to protect such information from disclosure.
B. Non Personally-Identifiable (Generic) Information:
CSI may gather some generic information automatically. Generic information does NOT reveal the identity of the visitor. It usually includes information about the Internet address assigned to your computer, the number and frequency of visitors, and any CSI sites visited. CSI may gather this information for the limited purpose of determining customer service and website needs. We may accomplish this by using certain technologies, including "cookies." CSI does not combine information collected in this way with any personally-identifiable information. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie and you can refuse it at your own discretion.
